The 600 series mounts to the fork crown, seat post, or rack, depending on the version. The lights are powered by a magnetic generator mounted to the axle hub, but do not require installing a dynamo hub.

The SL620R mounts to the seat post and has a flashing mode only. The light continues flashing for up to 2 minutes after the bike has stopped.
