The 600 series mounts to the fork crown, seat post, or rack, depending on the version. The lights are powered by a magnetic generator mounted to the axle hub, but do not require installing a dynamo hub.

The SL621R version mounts to the cargo rack, and only has a flashing mode. It will continue flashing for up to 2 minutes after the bike stops moving.
